Connecting Two Shores Through Culture & Heritage

Two Shores Polish–Scottish Cultural Association is a non-profit organisation building cultural connections between Poland and Scotland through shared heritage, arts, education and maritime traditions.

WHO WE ARE

Two Shores Polish–Scottish Cultural Association brings together people who share a passion for Polish and Scottish culture, heritage and the sea.

Based in Scotland, we create projects that connect our two countries through music, history, education, maritime heritage and artistic exchange.

We work with cultural institutions, artists, musicians, educators and community organisations in Scotland and Poland to create opportunities for collaboration, cultural exchange and bringing people together.

JUNE 2027:
A Celebration of Polish-Scottish Maritime Heritage

As part of our 2027 cultural programme, Two Shores Polish–Scottish Cultural Association is planning a special one-day event celebrating the maritime heritage, music and traditions that connect Poland and Scotland.

Set within the historic Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine, the event will bring together Polish and Scottish musicians, maritime historians and local communities for a day of music, storytelling, cultural exchange and discovery.

The programme is being developed to include live folk and maritime music, illustrated talks, interactive workshops and activities exploring the rich seafaring traditions of both nations.

The event will also provide an opportunity to introduce audiences to the remarkable story of ORP „Orzeł” and the wider commemorative and educational activities planned for 2027.

Through music, history and shared experiences, we hope to celebrate the connections that have brought our two nations together across the sea.

Further programme details and participating artists will be announced as preparations progress.
